Do you love lace as much as I do? It really is so inviting and beautiful. I don’t see black lace very often, but this lace from the Downton Abbey collection is especially pretty. This lace is from my partner Heritage Lace.
I picture this lace at Violet’s home. I can see the Dowager Countess of Granthan, pulling it closed, or better yet, telling one of her servants to close the curtain.
I love Violet. She’s so spunky. This lace reminds me of her.
Oh did I mention I love my job? Playing with dishes and lace are my kind of ‘work’. 🙂

As usual black adds drama. Will be incorporating some in my home. WOW what a great idea.

Years of living in Europe gave me a taste for touches of lace, especially the half-curtains so popular in the Netherlands. I have a fair-sized collection in the cedar chest and like to switch them around with the seasons. Your partner’s lace is lovely.

I grew up in Europe and even today my home has to have lace. What is the black lace pattern called? I would love it!

Heidi, I am not sure. If you contact Heritage Lace, they will know. Thanks!

I have some the lace valances in my kitchen windows I bought in Germany so many years ago. Wish I had bought lots more and more variety. Love your commentary with the lace.
