These brownies were voted the number one favorite dessert.
Well, it was just my family voting, but these brownies were voted number one. The recipe is basically Ruth Reichl’s Artpark Brownies with a few minor changes. And in case you don’t know who Ruth Reichl is, she was the editor in chief for Gourmet magazine until it ended publication in 2009.
Here is my version of these delicious brownies.
And if you haven’t gotten yours already, it may be too late. I hear a lot of Target stores are already out.

Brownies are the one thing I can cook and can’t seem to stop munching on. I’m scared to even enter Target after seeing these pretties everywhere. Don’t need to spend money now and it would be one more thing to pack!

Wow, those look yummy and no wonder with that secret ingredient. I love that stuff, just finished off a bottle a while back and need to get more. It’s great just trickled over vanilla ice cream.

I am drooling all over my key board. What a great idea to add the godiva liqueur. Where do you get it? It is something I have not seen in any store here in Utah.
Anita @ Cedar Hill Ranch says
I got it at the liquor store. So I don’t know how it works in Utah, do they even sell alcohol there, ha ha??

Hey, Anita! I recognized the Blue Ridge plates immediately. My Mom, my sister and I all have quite a collection of various pieces. My Mom’s collection is HUGE!!! But they are such great pieces. Microwave and Dishwasher safe, too, way before either one was common. And they’re beautiful!
And those brownies look amazing. YUM! YUM! YUM!
