It’s always fun for me to see what posts were the most popular ones. As a blogger, it’s important for me to know what you like, so I can provide more.

I’m going to try these tips on slip covers, but I’m going to start small first. It seems so daunting since I’m not a seamstress. LOL

I love learning from you Anita. I think you’re really good at turning your experiences into interesting posts. You’d make a great mentor because you find endless teachable talking points. For me, the ‘pretty picture posts’ are the ones I like the best, but I know I need to alter my ways for what others like, if I want a broader audience. It’s just hard to go the ‘how to’ route when you’re so visually oriented. I don’t think of myself as a DIY girl, but I’ve learned that decorating yourself is essentially DIY. It doesn’t need to involve a hammer to be DIY and hence it’s something you can, in fact, teach.

I retired last year and my husband gave me a sewing machine. When my boys were younger, I made all of their pajamas, shirts, curtains, etc. I set my machine up in the dining room but had to put it away constantly. We are re-doing our upstairs and I am getting a CRAFT ROOM!!!!!! When that is set up, I have the perfect chair that needs a slipcover and I will be using your suggestions. Thank you.
Thank you soo much for all you do! And great ideas! I would Love to hear advice, opinions etc on painting the interiors of homes where there is pine walls. You know where they have turned orange
and dark and because its your house you can’t see the forest for the trees! LOL literally!!

I love the linen you covered your furniture in. Where did you find it? Finding large amounts of yummy grayish linen for upholstery is hard, and when I find some that might work, it is too expensive.
