Get the Look – Dining Room

By Anita 25 Comments

Recently I did a post about how to get the look for my bedroom. You can find that post HERE.

It had such a positive response that I’m doing one for my dining room today.

But first, I have news. The winner for my last giveaway did not contact me within the 48 hours that is required, so I am picking a new winner. The new winner is Nanc Murphy!!! Update: She already emailed me back, so she is the official winner!! Every time I have a giveaway, if I don’t hear from the winner, I go onto another person, because someone is getting the prize. Yay Nanc!

And don’t forget someone is getting a free consult with me!!   Details here. It can be done by phone, skype, facetime, email, your choice.

Okay, the room has a lot going on, and I am breaking it down for you. I looked for items that are as close to what I have as possible.

I am also looking for sources that are available to you, no matter where you live (in the USA.)

Dear Anita……….Thank you for sharing your gorgeous dining room. I love the french country look. I am trying to incorporate and update my traditional old world look into a more updated look without breaking the bank. So room by room I have been racking my brain on the how to. You sharing your style helps a great deal. Thank you!

Oh my…could I use your help!!! I have been wanting to replace my gold silk draperies in a combination living/dining room for two years now….but cannot find a replacement at an affordable price. Keep a black chair I have because it is so comfy? or update with a gray one? Chalkpaint my brown furniture? Chalkpaint my mother’s mahogany dining room furniture? Gray? old white? I have so many questions for you….that I know I sound very selfish in saying this…but I hope I win the one hour consult!

Anita, your blog is wonderful: just full of inspiration for every type of interesting accent piece, for every room! Wish I could make the ruffled chair cushions, I love everything with a ruffle! There’s so much here, my head is buzzing!
