What a difference a day makes, and a year makes an even bigger difference.
Just for fun, I thought I would look back to what I was doing on my blog a year ago, 2 years ago, and 3 years ago. It’s not all pretty. You can see my photography has evolved, which is a nice way of saying I think some of the old photos are pretty crappy.
So if you are just starting out blogging, these posts will make you feel a whole lot better I think. Some of the worst photos I may have deleted. (I don’t want to scare anyone off.)
Are you ready? I’m not sure I am, but here goes.

Here I was playing with what to put over my sofa that was scaled properly for the wall. Hmmm, nice try Anita…
I still love these tags I made, but the photos I’m not so crazy about.

I went shopping for another rug for the kitchen. Cowhide rugs are a requirement if you have a farm in Texas. I don’t write the rules, I just report them. 🙂
Well I survived. Happy Saturday!

Another Texas blogger here! It is fun looking back, isn’t it? I started blogging in late in 2009 and took a break for about a year last year and what a difference in my blog too! It’s been great fun though! Yours is too! I did find out the hard way that if you use Picassa, you’ll delete your blog photographs is you delete on the picassa website! BAD deal!! So I have many empty pic spots on posts, so sad!!
Have a beautiful day, it’s gorgeous in our part of south Texas!

Anita, you’ve inspired me to improve my photography skills. I’m still learning (a lot) from you, but I’m no where near the quality you present. I know I need a “real” camera, but haven’t yet made the leap. 😉

Hi Anita! I’m a fairly new blogger myself with a little over two years experience…I started very slow and have picked up with blogging a lot more now. I’m trying to get noticed, I guess it just takes a while. Love your blog! I also enjoy watching the Junk Gypsies on HGTV and found it interesting that you both are in Round Top, TX! Enjoy your weekend! LuAnn
