The No Effort Memo Board

By Anita 17 Comments

My friend Ashley says she loves my blog, and do you want to know why? Is it because she finds my ideas incredibly awesome? How about because she enjoys reading my blog? No, it appears my blog is loved for another reason.

She says that the other bloggers are constantly making something that seems complicated and involved. She just wants to buy cute stuff already made.

Like my memo board?  Yup, I bought it. Let’s not reinvent the wheel, I always say.  The board was already made and inexpensive, so I cheated. I bought it just like this.  It came with the string and the cute little clothespins, and the darling grain sack writing on the front.

Some people might call my approach lazy, but I call it smart.  What can I say? I’m a good shopper, and that’s good enough for Ashley.

I found this cutie at Decor Steals. (Not a sponsored post.)

Works for me! I’m the same way, making stuff? Not so much….but buying things? Yeah, I’m all over that!

Cute board! Ditto – no need to reinvent the wheel! But if someone else comes up with a unique & clever repurposing idea and puts their elbow grease to it, I’m certainly open to that! And that’s another reason to connect with you and your link hosting! Have a great weekend!

Yes Bliss, I just realized I didn’t put my source in the post. I just added it, but in case anyone missed it, I bought the board from Decor Steals.

I love to create, but when you find something cute, you have to grab it.

I agree, why recreate the wheel and who has the time? Apparently, a lot of people, but I’m not one of them.

Love the message board! Why make one if you can buy one reasonably? So cute.

Ashley is hiding it from you quite well! I am sure she reads every word of your posts and savours them, just the way I am doing for the past two hours since I discovered your blog!

I am thoroughly enjoying each of your posts (and the pictures….quite honestly) because both are equally delectable! To me it is a newly found book and I am enjoying every minute of it!

I bought it too! Like you said, let’s not reinvent the wheel. I do enjoy making things, but when you find something that’s a good price, go for it!
