I get lots of questions like

Do you have cows at your farm?
Uh… well not usually, but sometimes the fence is down.

and

Do you live near Dallas?

No.

And

What’s the weird thing in the corner of the last photo?

It was probably my foot.

And so I thought it might be fun to find out what you want to know and then I’ll write a post answering your questions.

I get a lot of questions about the paint colors I chose, that’s easy, I answered it here, and where I got things too. ,  many sources are provided here.
If no one leaves any questions this is going to be SO AWKWARD!!!

Send questions (anything you want to know) by

Do you leave those beautiful French linens outside in the hot Texas sun?

Isn’t it tiring having 2 houses to keep up? They are both beautiful but I have a hard time just taking care of our one home on 4 acres. Do you have help? I wish I had your energy! I love all the colors you picked for your new home.

Is that crystal or glass on your table top picture? I have seen glass look as fancy as crystal so I am not sure.

You always crack me up, Anita 🙂 I want to know HOW do you do it all? Do you ever sleep? Really, I know what you do is a tremendous amount of work and I’m just wondering what your typical daily “schedule” looks like.
Thanks for the smile, and something pretty to look at, this morning!

I was born and raised in West Texas and I love my home state, my love for Texas is deep. Home was a big ‘ol cattle ranch and we also raised quarter horses. Looks like your home is around the hill country or maybe close to Austin? What is the nearest town to your home? I love the look you have in the ranch house and the fact that you share the process and products you use. My question is “do you ever have a hard time getting a project started?” That seems to be my hurdle, once I start, it usually goes pretty good. Thanks for putting yourself out there and for all the good help.

Oh, thank you for letting us ask questions. I’ve been wondering if you plan to do any draperies or window coverings in your new home and if so, what are your plans? I’d really like to know room-by-room if you don’t mind. No details are too small for me! : ) Also, what are the ages of your children and what do they do?

Do you ever decorate other peoples homes? I see you are photographer, do you think that gives you a “good eye” for decorating? When people come to your home do they often ask if you are a decorator? OK that’s three!

Hi there, I was hoping you would show us the closets, pantries, bathrooms and linen closets. I love all your ideas. We will be building a home with the Hill Country look.
