Priming for Paint – New House Update

By Anita 11 Comments

It’s getting closer to completion, and the closer it gets.. the messier the house looks.

This is why home owners move out when their homes are being renovated. It’s just a mess.

This is the primer coat. You can see it’s all over the hardwood floors, but it will all get cleaned up when we refinish them.

You can see my paint samples on the walls here. The sample in the middle of the photo is agreeable gray. That’s the one we are using. I sure hope I like it, since it will be on all of the walls in the entire house.

This is the study above.

These are the built-in plate racks.  You’ll see, I’m going to need all of the dish storage space I can get.

Did you miss any of my construction updates? You can catch up here.

With a name like agreeable…how wrong could it be? Of course, it would be great to paint one room to see what you think before doing the whole house. I’ve had some pretty surprising results in the past from small patches of paint…it’s just different in a whole room.
LOVE the way it’s looking, Anita.

Yea, it sure does look pretty messy. I don’t know how people live through renovations. Crazy! It maybe a tad messy now, but it sure is looking amazing.
