I am constantly thinking of what I can do to make the blog better for you so I have made some changes lately based on lots of feedback.
I added a lot more information on my ABOUT page. I don’t think of people wanting to hear about me personally, but about the projects I work on, so I had basically ignored this page. Then I realized that people do want to know a little bit more about me, and why I blog. As a little girl I thought I would become an artist when I got older. Well that didn’t happen, but you can read that for yourself if you like. Yes that’s my drawing from about the age of 15.
I added a page of PROJECTS, so they are easier to find. I’m adding projects all of the time here, but there are already over 50 projects here to peruse.
I’ve also updated the CITY HOUSE TOUR with lots of new photos.
And the FARMHOUSE TOUR also has new photos added.
Is there anything else you want to see here? Most of the changes I am making to the blog are a result of feedback I’m getting. Leave a comment or email me if you want to see anything else here.

From your photos I see you are ozone of those people whose decor has nothing that doesn’t go with the chosen theme. I’ve never been able to accomplish that as there are so many things I like. Hope to see you once my days of travel are over.

Oh Anita I just LOVE your story! I remember as a little girl wanting to be an artist too or maybe even a dancer. I loved them both so much but the practical side stepped in and I went into the medical field. It wasn’t until I became a mommy that I rediscovered that creative side of myself again. Now with my own children I watch them to see what they love to do in their free time and am always asking them what they want to be when the grow up. I don’t want them to wait as long as I did to do what they love best…their passion.
Anita…you are an incredibly creative and talented women and such an inspiration to me…thank you so much for sharing your beautiful story.
XO Barbara

What an emotion filled story! I didn’t realize I had such a sad face until it changed to a smile when I read “covered with spit up and split peas”. Your girls are just beautiful and oh how you can draw! You are so talented and obviously very intelligent. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

Anita, What a sweet gifted woman you are. I enjoy your blog and learning from you. If possible, I would love to know a little more about how you make your bedding (the toile). I do sew a little. I just do not know how to figure how much fabric to buy, etc. I would love a “how to” on your bedding. thank you!!
