Today I am sharing some of my favorite Christmas decorating ideas. I’ve grabbed these photos from Christmas past.
Above I set out greenery, pillows and a throw on the porch to give it a cozy feel. Below, I simply placed packages around my home with loads and loads of ribbon.
Next I added berries and leaves from the farm to a stack of vintage books, surrounded by gold angels.
Placing boxwoods in trophies or just about any container gives a room holiday charm.

I love, love, LOVE boxwood anything. Why do you suppose it is so expensive?
Anita says
I’m not sure Barbara. I buy them at wholesale and they are still expensive.
Barbara says
Thanks, Anita, it’s reassuring to know that even wholesale they are pricey. I’ve thought about trying to make my own, but I’m not sure how to preserve them even if I could find a gardener to follow around and pick up the bits he trims off the plants.
Tammy says
Thanks for all the inspirations!

MeRrY ChRiStMaS! I never, ever thought of hanging beautiful teacups on my predominately white Christmas tree, what a lovely idea. My Mom and I both think it is a very clever idea and what a perfect use for the many tea cups I have from my grandmother and great aunt. Thank you for sharing your many wonderful ideas. I am thoroughly enjoying your site.
