My Favorite 70+ Christmas Decor Items

By Anita 44 Comments

I DO love to shop! And I think I’m not the only one. Sometimes I am shopping for clients, or for myself, and sometimes I just like to see what is out there. I consider it ‘research’.

christmas-trees

I found myself shopping yesterday online and thought that you might enjoy seeing what I found in the way of Christmas decor.

But first, let me say that I am LOVING the giveaways! It’s a way for me to give back to readers, and it encourages more comments. I LOVE hearing from you!! It just makes me so happy when take the time to leave a comment.

Remember I’ll be announcing the winner for the November giveaway tomorrow on the CEDAR HILL FARMHOUSE Facebook page, CLICK HERE.

Okay so here is what I decided to do this month.

giveaway-dec-2016-cedar-hill-farmhouse-100

I’m giving away a signed copy of my book (in hardback) a signed French Accents mug, a macaron towel (made in France) an 8-ounce container of Amy Howard at Home One Step Paint in Luxe Gray, and 3 vintage silverplate spoons. This paint is chalk-based so if you haven’t tried the paint before, I think you are going to have loads of fun using this!

Sadly, it is only open to US residents, so my apologies to my friends in other countries. And of course I have to have official rules that you can find here. Yes the winner is announced on Facebook, but I will also contact the winner directly by email, so no worries if you are not on Facebook.

On another note: Sound the alarm! My mom is getting the internet! She lives in  a remote area, and has been without service for a few years. Before that, it was so slow, that it was basically worthless. It’s also impossible to get a phone signal at her house, so going to visit her is like being stuck in the 90’s. That isn’t all bad, unless you run an online business. I’ll let you know if this install goes okay. The last time someone came to install service, they weren’t able to get a satellite signal there.

I have just a few Christmas items left in my shop, and they are both on sale!

Okay back to holiday decor. So I love to have a few Christmas items in my home for the holidays and it’s fun to change them up each year with something fresh. Below I’ve included some Christmas decor that I found to be charming. Just click on the photo and that will take you to the website so you can see all of the buying information. These are affiliate links. That means if you buy something I might make a small commission, but it does not cost you any extra. Buying through these links allows me to continue to bring you free content.

I am in love with your “old time” decorations. They bring back fond memories of my mother’ tree and my great aunt’s Christmas display on her sofa table. I have inherited many of them and they are extremely special to me. Thanks for keeping those memories alive.

I have a wonderful daughter in law and it has become our tradition to shop black Friday. She goes through the ads and makes a list – checking it twice! And off we go. It is truly a girls day out with the guys feeding themselves leftovers.

Anita: I’m a Traditionalist…and I SEE RED at Christmastime. I like to use red in my holiday décor, and incorporate it in such a way as to not be too dominate, but blend in. I LOVE your decorating style (!) and your Christmas gift ideas fill my need for RED. Thank you, and have a Merry Christmas!
