Happy New Year to YOU. I’ve got so much planned for 2014, I’m pretty excited!!
The main thing I am doing a bit differently is that I am listening to you to find out what readers like. I’m working very hard to bring you more of what you want, and not so much of the stuff that yawns are made of. I know readers love beautiful photos that inspire and lots of tips on how to do cool stuff. That’s where my focus will be. I know you aren’t so interested in what I had for breakfast (cereal with strawberries and green tea) so I’m steering clear of that stuff. Oh my, I think I just made myself yawn. I’m hearing that readers like to get great ideas on how to decorate without spending a million, so decorating tips and sources are king.
I still have the brand new guest suite to show you, and a few rooms in the new house still haven’t shown up on the blog yet. I’ve got some furniture painting projects planned, new home tours, and so much more coming. I’m also redoing my farmhouse bedroom with some fabulous new bedding from Ballard Designs. (sponsored) I can’t wait to show you that. I’m working with a few other very select sponsors that I am very thrilled about. We have a wonderful 25 blog home tour coming in January about how to make your home cozy and warm. I have so much planned AND there are always projects and things that come up that aren’t even on my radar yet.
I forgot to mention in my year-end wrap up, how thankful I am for all of the magazine articles this year. Here’s a list of magazines that featured my work in 2013. I already have some way cool magazine stuff brewing for 2014, and I’ll share more about that later.
