The Dressing Room

By Anita 17 Comments

I used to have a closet. Sure it was a walk-in, but it felt very utilitarian, very useful, but certainly not elegant… like this room.

I love coming in here to get dressed in the morning. This is where I sit to put on my shoes or boots as the case may be.

I found this little gem of a bergere chair at the thrift store. Sure it needed to be re-upholstered, but I just happened to have some Italian linen sitting around waiting for a project. SCORE!

I have always wanted a bergere chair, and now I have one. And just look at that detail!
I felt that the room needed some bling, so here is the chandelier that works perfectly in here.

Sure wish I could blog in here, but alas there’s no signal here. ย Oh well…

Oh, my Lord! Anita, this is amazing. What a wonderful dressing room. Looks like a bed could even fit in there. I’m so proud of you and I’m not jealous at all! ๐Ÿ™‚
