Well yes it’s my birthday today. And I only tell you that because as a treat to myself, I’m not doing a real post, just sharing a few of my favorite photos of my favorite place in the world. If you guessed it was my back porch… you are correct!!
This is where I read books, sip tea, and laugh with friends.
I cut wildflowers from the fields and arrange them here.
We enjoy meals here on the back porch…
but sometimes go ‘off-road’ if the mood strikes.
I love pulling furniture off the porch and having a party in the fields. Sometimes it’s a small party…
And sometimes it’s a big party.
Sometimes I get so lazy I take a nap here…
Or here.
And as the sun sets, this is a great place for a glass of wine with family and friends. You can hear the sounds of the creek below as it splashes over the rocks.
I am having so much fun sharing my life with you. I appreciate you sharing some of your precious day with me. So it may be my birthday, but I’m raising my glass to you today!! Cheers!

When I saw the bluebonnets I knew they had to be in a Texas field and went to read your About page to see where it might be. How have I missed that you live your city life in Houston?
