Christmas Style with Turquoise and Pink

By Anita 18 Comments

I have been blogging for so long that I have a ton of stuff in my archives that new readers haven’t seen. I thought today would be a great day to pull out some photos from 2014, since these are some of my favorites. As you can see rather than using wrapping paper, I found some sweet boxes for Christmas presents, then just added pink ribbon.

Then I put little ornaments here and there.

I love the look of all these white dishes in my cabinets.

Turquoise although not a traditional Christmas color is so fun to work with. I bought these trees 2 years ago, so I don’t think they are available any more. I love the color!!

I love mercury glass too. The over-sized ornaments look great everywhere.

Of course I love bottle brush trees of all sizes.

Then I added my Christmas cups and an assortment of Fortnum and Mason teas for a festive afternoon tea.

I hope this sparked some ideas for your Christmas decor this year.

i love the green and red front porch picture. I have an entry similar to this and am going to incorporate this into my holiday decorations. I had never thought of putting a wreath on that big upper window and draping garland down the side. Off to find a wreath and the ladder.

I just love the way you decorated your tea table! I love having tea and I usually invite my friends for an afternoon tea around Christmas. My table is usually decorated in crystal, red and green, but I love the idea of changing it up to turquoise and pink this year! So beautiful!

I love your style, in particular I am a big bottle brush tree fan. Your turquoise trees are gorgeous. I so enjoy your blog, it opens up inspirations for my own business. Thank you for sharing. G-d bless.

I’ve used a tabletop turquoise tree in my dining room for 3 yrs now…I am putting it in my bedroom this year as I am using something else in the dining room…
I also use a smaller tree in the living room and put it in a red basket every year…I love how we bloggers all feed on ea other and come up with such good inspiration.

I am crazy about bottle brush trees! I bought several last Christmas season and I’m going to look for some more this year. The trees I bought last year are all green so I’m thinking I might “branch out” (ha,ha) and look for some white or tinted ones this year. I am also really loving the mercury glass ornaments, especially the “blush” colored ones I’ve seen in several blog posts this year. My budget doesn’t allow for purchasing many, but I’m going to see what I can find.

Thanks for offering the give-away! I know I would really enjoy having your book.

I love the tea table! So festive! I am a tea drinker and don’t drink coffee at all. I will have to try the brand of tea. Where did you ever get those aqua bottle brushes, or did you do them yourself? I have pink, green, off white and purple, but have not seen the aqua. Its stunning! Thanks in advance for letting me know!

    Christmas Blessings,
    Cathy

Merry Christmas! ? I adore Country French Decor and I am thrilled that I found your site. I also love bottle brush trees and admire your collection, especially the unusual turquoise colored trees. I collect white bottle brush trees for me and pink BB trees for my granddaughter. Can’t wait for future posts! P.S. Clever use of the Spode cups for your tea party.
