The Best of 2014

By Anita 10 Comments

Wow, what a year! I have had a fabulous year, and I sure hope you have too. Here’s a look at the best of 2014 here at Cedar Hill Farmhouse.

look-back-at-2014

It has been amazing, and because of you and this little blog, I’ve had so many opportunities.

I’ve had two magazine shoots, one at the farm

and one at the city house.

I’ll have more details later on the magazine features.

I was so honored to partner with Joss and Main for two curated sales.

And then a book deal. (I’m am still working on that.) I am truly blessed. I appreciate you coming here for a visit more than you will probably ever know.

What are some of my favorite posts from this year? Here are my top 3. I just can’t pick one, and narrowing it down to 3 is also pretty difficult for me.

I love your blog because I so love Country French. It caught my eye right away. I too have a learning disabled child so I guess we have another thing in common. His Sr. year, we found a school that is truly a magical place. You might want to check it out in the future. It’s called Riverview and is located on the Cape in Sandwich, Mass. I would send him there again just for the social life alone. He met friends from all around the world. There were so many activities he was able to attend that he wouldn’t have in the public school. Prom was a huge blow-out event under a big white tent and they announced all the kids like they were rock stars. The entire community embraces these kids. A little night club called Puffer Belly’s shut down on Monday and invited Riverview students to come for dancing. I can’t say enough good things about it. When your daughter gets a little older, you might want to go tour Riverview. I highly recommend it.
