Back Porch Living

It’s spring time and that means one thing here.
The bluebonnets are blooming and I’m hanging out on my back porch.

The views are just amazing from our porch.

I’m sharing my back porch today at

Anita, this is one of the perks of living in TX. Even if we don’t have a gorgeous back porch view of a field of bluebonnets, all we have to do is travel the highways to be treated to such spectacular beauty. We have Lady Bird to thank for such beauty across our state. Thanks for sharing………Sarah

The blue ones are the bluebonnets. The purple ones are wild Verbena.

Many years ago we took a driving holiday from OKC to Corpus Christi in the first week of April. I’ll never forget my first sight of a field of Blue Bonnets. We had to stop the car so that I could snap picture after picture – a wonderful sight!

Love the view of the field of bluebonnets from your back porch… Some years I have bluebonnets on my little field, but none this year. I’ll be planting seeds this fall in hopes of flowers next spring.

    Thanks for sharing your bluebonnets.
