Okay do you touch up your walls a lot like me? What I really don’t like is having to change into my ‘painting clothes’ just to touch up a small spot on the wall. Painting is messy and the paint cans are a pain to deal with. And I admit I’m not the neatest painter. I remember back when I was a newlywed painting a room with my then husband. Just kidding, we’re still married.
I knocked over an entire paint can full of paint. It was a big mess. It became known as LAKE ANITA. Lake Anita might sound like a disaster to you, but it’s my excuse for no longer painting a room.
“Well of course I would love to save money and paint the room myself, but… need I remind you ofl… LAKE ANITA?”
I would then look dejected as if I really wanted to paint, but that I couldn’t because I was just too messy.
So, let’s talk about My Paint Saint.
This product was provided to me for review purposes. Depending on the outcome of the campaign, I might possibly benefit financially. All of the opinions are my own.
When I heard about it, I was intrigued. It sounded pretty awesome for touching up paint. I move furniture myself, and I bump walls with the furniture I am carrying.
I like the internal shelf that you can use to scrape off any excess paint from the paint brush, and how easy it is to close the can. No hammer required to close it, and no screw driver required to open it. The best part is how neat it all is. I don’t have to change into my paint clothes.
My Paint Saint is being crowd-funded on Kickstarter. If you aren’t familiar with Kickstarter it is a crowd-funding site, meaning people raise money for projects there. When you agree to donate money to the cause, you get something in return depending on the level of donation. If the organization does not raise the money they request, then they get no money, and your credit card isn’t charged. If the project funds, then the donation goes through, and you get your reward afterward. My daughter’s guitar teacher used Kickstarter years ago to produce his own music album. The project funded. I gave at the level to get a song he wrote for my daughter. It was a great birthday gift.
So for My Paint Saint, if they get funding, they will go into production for the My Paint Saint product.

Anita,
I haven’t had any “lake” experiences painting. . .
but “Mr. Ed” will not allow me to paint our walls!!!
He cringes when I paint furniture and cabinetry!!!
Let’s just say, I have more paint on me than what I’m painting!!!
Great new product!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
Fondly,
Pat

Too funny – once Peter spilled a whole can of paint on the ugliest shag carpet in a house we just bought. Wasn’t sure I was getting that carpet ripped up until that HAPPY moment. Happy for me anyway!
I love My Paint Saint – Everyone should get a set!

I just ordered two and can’t wait til they come. I buy extra cans when I start a project just so I can touch up. I probably have enough unopened cans to open my own store. I paint practically everything in my home that will stand still long enough. Thanks for sharing!!!! ReNee
