Revealing the Book Cover for French Accents

By Anita 18 Comments

Oh I am pretty excited and I hope you are too. I’ve been working on this book for over a year, and it will be released this Fall. I’m excited to show you the book cover.

The book is about how to add French accents to your home without starting from scratch. I’ve included several other homes in the book that I have never shown on my blog. In fact the cover photo wasn’t taken in my home at all. It was taken at another home that is gorgeous. It’s about creating a warm, welcoming home with lots of French goodness.

I would like to say we struggled with which photo to use on the cover, but really when I took this photo, I saw it on the cover. I knew this was ‘the one.’ My husband thought I would be disappointed that it wasn’t a photo of my house. “Oh no!” I said. I’m looking for the best cover photo, and to really to pick the best I need to be unbiased. The photo used was my choice. The publisher asked for several photos from which they could select. I sent this photo with about 4 others. Guess which one they picked? Yup, this one!

The cover looks gorgeous I like how it focuses on a small area of a home. The painted furniture is lovely and overall I think the image will draw people to want to explore it more.

Congratulations Anita, can’t wait to see inside the cover.

It’s lovely. You made a great choice. It says something about your character that you didn’t have to struggle with your ego in choosing a home other than your own. I am looking forward to the time when your book is published. I cannot wait to pick up a copy!
