Farmhouse French Dining Room (New House)

By Anita 24 Comments

After working on this house for a year, it’s so exciting to finally be able to share it with you.  You might recognize many of my things from the old house. I love finding things at bargain prices like thrift stores, resale shops, Craigslist and of course Round Top!  I even found the console on clearance at Restoration Hardware for an excellent price!

It’s amazing how much better everything looks here. I was going to put a rug in the dining room, but I just love the floors too much to cover them all up.

Window coverings are coming, but for now I’m enjoying having the windows bare.

My mirror from Round Top goes perfectly in here.

The mirror and olive buckets are from Round Top, the console was on clearance at Restoration Hardware. French caned chairs are from an auction and the two corner chairs are from Craigslist. I have a source post coming with more details soon.

Oh I’ve got so much more to show you. I sure hope you come back for more!!

Did you miss any of the posts on the new house? You can find them here.

This is absolutely gorgeous! We never did cover our windows, but we don’t have any near neighbors and we have a long driveway. I love the look of your whole room and the bare windows. AND that large picture on the wall. Perfect!

Oh, I’ll be back for more! Exquisite dining room. I can imagine myself being transported to a french farmhouse in the country and dining with good company at that table. Love EVERY detail.
