Shabby Chic Guest House

By Anita 11 Comments

Yes, I still have more photos of Rachel Aswell’s B and B.  To see the website for the Bed and Breakfast, click here.  These photos are of the dining hall and guest lounge.  I am sure they have a fancier name for it, but that is what I call it.  If you want to see more photos of the Bed and Breakfast, you can click on part 1, part 2, part 3, or part 4, (this is part 5) or part 6

Note the white slipcovered sofa and chairs, white painted furniture and cowhide rugs.  Below is a photo of the outside of this building.

For some reason, the deer here are most fashionable.

I love these old dresses hanging on the wall.

And how about these blingy chandies.

And this feminine, shabby, purple settee?

I heard that this cake goes with Rachel where ever she goes, but I don’t know the story behind it.  If anyone does, I would love to hear it.

This carousel horse is so fun.

Here are some of the tables where guests dine.

Oh, that’s Pearl the dog.

Here is the kitchen where Danny and Lisa make breakfast.

Here’s all of the plates and flatware for breakfast.

Pearl is such a good dog.

Coffee anyone?

Even the dishes are white.

This jelly cupboard greets you as you open the door.

Did you see the star barely noticeable on the floor?   I am not sure if that represents Texas or the Prairie or both.

You can also read about Rachel’s B&B in the current issue of Southern Living.

That looks like a really neat place to visit! Is that cake one of those that you would see a stripper break out of at bachelor parties? lol! I hope not! I’m loving the turquoise chairs. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
