Last week I showed you some of my study, and I am going to continue the tour today.
Here is one of my guest chairs, have a seat!

Did you notice the cool detail on the back of my desk? I found this baby at a French auction, and I’m not going to lie. It wasn’t cheap, but it’s the real deal, and gorgeous!!
I love old books, and these are some that belongs to my father-in-law. He was dean of a theological seminary.
My lady here came to me from a consignment store. I got her for $50. I think she’s the bomb.
I didn’t realize how many of my favorite things were in here until I started writing this post. This is another genuine article. It’s a French clock. No, of course she doesn’t work, she’s just here to be pretty… like me bawhahah.
I love these wood lamps with the French graphic shades.
Thanks for stopping by!!
Want to see more? All of the posts on the new house can be found here.

What a beautiful room. I love all the vintage treats you have scattered around. Plus the warm brown of the wood with the cream of the chair and such is a wonderful combo. Make the room look chic, and comfy all at once.
Beautiful room with so much personality. Gorgeous desk and I love your lady. Those lamps are a great addition. Bookcase is so beautiful. Enjoy your perfect room!
SO pretty! I love that you’ve used a lot of authentic French things. I also LOVE the doors going into the study.
Looks great! Thanks so much for sharing.

I love this room. It is simply beautiful !!! And the clock does work, it’s right twice a day !!! hehehe
Hi Anita,
Your home is just beautiful. I am about to sell my large custom home and downsize some and I want my new home to look just like yours! I hope you are not offended by that because I mean this to be the utmost compliment. Could you tell me if you built from the ground up and if so where did you get your plan? I could not find just your email to do this privately so I’m sorry to do this as a post on your blog.
Thanks,
Lydianne Watson
We built from the ground up. They demo-ed the old house that was in terrible condition. I used a plan my builder had. Where are you building? You can email me at anita(at)cedarhillfarmhouse(dot)com.
Simply beautiful – the desk is stunning and all of your decorations work so well together. Thanks so much for sharing your study.
Have a Happy Fall weekend.
Mary
LOVE this room! I have that same floor covering in my kitchen and adore it. Looks beautiful with your stunning room!

First things I noticed were your lamps and shades then the gorgeous wood carving on front of your desk. Your whole room is awesome, love the rug and all your other great goodies. Happy days.
The room is stunning! So very beautiful!
Anita your study is so pretty. I love all the accessories and those lamp shades are so pretty. I want them!!! Pinned them!

Anita I love this room, it is right up my alley. Thank you for sharing.
I LOVE this room…I share your love for all things French, I’m always afraid I’m going too far in that direction, then I witness a room pulled together like yours and it reaffirms the vision in my mind’s eye. I LOVE the entire room, but the rug stands out. I will be on the lookout and keep my fingers crossed that it comes back on DecorSteals.
