So my baby is away, on her senior trip, and I have to admit I’m missing her. Mondays we have our coffee date, and she’s not here. She’s having a blast, and that makes me happy, so it’s okay. Just part of being a mom.
I had so much fun writing this Sunday post about working with dishes. I’m posting a link HERE, in case you missed it.
Honestly I have so much going on, sometimes I feel like I am spinning in place, since I’m not sure where to start. I guess I’ll just start where I am, and put one foot in front of the other. Have a fabulous Monday.
Hi everyone. I’m happy to be your host this week at The Scoop!

If you’ve been looking for an inexpensive and easy way to show your patriotism, especially over the next several weeks, here’s a tutorial for a super easy to make patriotic wreath that you can whip up in just a few minutes.
How To Make A Patriotic Wreath
It is such a privilege and pleasure to party with you every week! As usual, you really wowed us with your links last week. Here are a just a few of the many that caught my eye.
Christina from Remodelando la Casa built two wonderful potting benches out of repurposed lumber. You’ll have to take a look to see the surprising place that her lumber came from.
What do you do when you need flatware for a special occasion table? Jenna from The Painted Apron has a totally adorable solution.
Shirley from Beachwood Place shows us how to make a Pottery Barn inspired beach sign. Love it.
Oh yum. Sarah from Raining Hot Coupons shares a decadent looking recipe for crock pot french toast. I think I gained 10 lbs just looking at the photo.
Kelly from The Moon And Me completed an amazing furniture transformation. I was wowed by what this piece started out as.
Thank you to every single one of you who linked up and to those of you who just came by to visit last week.

Parents raise their children to be independent adults, yet letting go is so difficult. I know you are feeling all sorts of mixed emotions. ‘-)
Love the post on using plates to decorate.
I remember moving our son to college was so hard because we are all so close. It’s hard to let them grow up because we miss them like crazy! Thanks for hosting.
