The Scoop #112

By Anita 29 Comments

Happy Monday!
I had some friends over to the farm for a camping weekend, and wow, I was exhausted last night!! They are mostly in their 20’s and had me playing stick ball, and hiking around.  It was so much fun, but I think I am going to need a day to recover.  We had a long table in the pasture for our meals, and then everyone sat under a tree later in the day and enjoyed the breeze. At night we had a roaring fire in the firepit, with the required s’mores.  The weather was beautiful!

I also went to Round Top. I found a beautiful iron baby crib.  No, I’m not pregnant!!  I’m actually using it for something else. I’m really excited about it too!! I also bought some vintage silver, two linen pillow shams, and some embroidered Italian linen napkins for $1 a piece. Why did I buy those? I don’t need any napkins. I really need to slap myself sometimes!!

Wow, Anita, I was gone last week and although i got caught up on reading publications due to sketchy internet, I got really behind on my blog reading. There’s so much good stuff to read and look at, and now the garden work is calling my name – a good busy, no complaining, just so much to soak in. Thanks for hosting, I’m happy to be here, and I’ll be back through the week to check out some of the great links.
