The Scoop #110

By Anita 18 Comments

So good to see you here!!
My kids are on spring break this week, so we are doing some fun things together. We didn’t go on a fancy trip, just staying home, but we’ll still have fun.  If you try to reach me, I’m around, just taking some time away from my computer, so it might take a little longer for me to get back to you.
I loved out Spring Mega Linky Party, and there were so many fabulous ideas there.  I thought it would be fun to include a few cool projects from that party that stood out.  Here are some of my personal favorites.
First we have a spring tablescape by Lilacs and Longhorns. I love the fresh simplicity of this table.

Next is a tiered tart pan stand from D.D’s Cottage and Design. I love tart pans, and I have never seen this done before. Bravo!!

I loved this idea of using string lights in a Mason jar.  Way to be creative, Heart Rocks in My Pocket with lightening bugs in a jar.

And now onto the Scoop

The weekly linky party featuring the scoop on the best posts from around the web!

Hi everyone!  If you’re like me, your heart is yearning for spring!  The first official day of spring this year is March 20th, but I’ve been bringing spring into my home for several weeks now.

Spring = Green!

Spring = Outdoor Dining too!

Some of my favorite Fitz & Floyd pieces  were incorporated in this Celebrating Spring Tablescape that I put together on my front porch one warm and sunny afternoon.

Now let’s check out some of your projects from last week’s The Scoop.

Babs from Upstairs Downstairs put together a pretty Easter centerpiece using her recent find from TJ Maxx.

Karri from Blue Ribbon Kitchen made these adorable mini Jello cups for the cute kids Easter table that she set.  You’ll want to check out the rest of Karri’s table too.

Victoria from Trois Petites Filles shared how she painted the upholstery on her French settee score from Craigslist.

Laura from Finding Home did a great job with her diy vintage crate boot rack.  Check how she did it so you can make one too.

Head over to AKA Design to check out Shannon’s oh-so-pretty cottage dining room.

And last, but certainly not least, Priscilla from Priscilla’s shared her really cute and creative no sew 3D burlap table runner.

    Not sure what happened, because I’m having trouble with my computer. My link ended up on there 3 times (#122, 126, 128) Can you delete 2 of them? Have a blast on your spring break with the kiddos! Thanks for hosting.
