Easy Place Cards

By Anita 17 Comments

I don’t know when I have had so much fun with paper. I wanted to make some cute tags to use for place cards on our Christmas table.

I bought a punch for making tags (40% off at Hobby Lobby right now, so the punch was about $12.) Then I selected a pad of pretty papers. When I got home I just put the paper in the punch and voila!

All I did then was punch a small hole in the top, run some string through the hole and then stamped each person’s initials on the tags. (Okay I had to buy the alphabet stamps and a pad of ink.) I attached the tags to these cute metal sleigh bells (about 50 cents each at Hobby Lobby) that I put in the footed stemware. I’d like to make it sound more difficult, but I don’t think I can.

This was so much fun, that I have another paper project to show you, and I’ll show you the rest of the table too, but only after I get the laundry done.

No wonder you crafters are so happy all of the time!!  I had no idea paper could  be this much fun.

Welcome to the world of lovers of papers and pretties, as I call them. The tags are too cute, and I love the way you displayed them in the glasses.
