These are crazy times, and every morning I wonder how long this will go on. There is the worry over how many people are sick and dying, the economy tanking, and there is the worry of how we are losing freedoms. It’s been very stressful for us, and I am sure for most everyone. As I became overwhelmed with worry, I realized that nothing I saw on the news was going to make me feel better. I think about you and pray that you are feeling comfort from the Great Comforter. If you are aren’t acquainted with Psalm 91, you might want to check it out. It provides me with great peace every day.
We are staying at home, and although I miss seeing people in person and going out to restaurants and such, I’m okay. I am happy with a slower, quieter schedule. We are doing very simple cooking, mostly from scratch, and I’m enjoying that aspect. I even made sourdough bread with my own starter. It took almost 2 weeks from the beginning to my first loaf of bread, but that was a fun project. Also, I order what I thought was 5 bananas from Amazon fresh, but what I got was 5 bunches of bananas. Banana bread it is! Stay safe and healthy.
