1. What was the most exciting thing that has happened to you because of your blog?
It was thrilling to see my blog featured in the Site Section of Romantic Homes magazine, but the most exciting thing for me is just watching my blog grow. I started blogging to share the decorating of our new home with family and friends. Never in my wildest dreams did I think so many people would be interested in reading my little blog. I have “met” so many wonderful people through blogging and created lifetime friendships.
2. What is your dream gig? (like being in a particular magazine, having your own cooking show, the sky’s the limit)
Being semi-retired has been wonderful and I am really enjoying all my free time. I don’t see me taking on a new career at this time of my life. My dream would be for Steve and I to live in Europe for a couple of years and of course I would want to visit EVERY single brocante.
3. What are a few things that readers would be surprised to find out about you?
When I was young I wanted to be a Prima Ballerina and I took ballet lessons for sixteen years, sometimes five days a week.. Just recently while in Florida I visited the dance studio where I took lessons all those years. It is now a antique shop, but still has the original scratched up wood floors that we danced on. Just looking at those floors and knowing I was responsible for many of the scratches brought back many happy memories. Years ago I framed the program and ballet shoes I wore at age three in my first recital. It is even more special to me because my mom wrote on the program that I was a little doll.
